  • Comply with shift work schedules and be able to work occasional overtime to meet operational deadlines

  • Cylinder Testing and Requalification Required

  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly plant / warehouse appearance

  • May conduct a variety of safety checks per procedure, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves and accurately labels cylinders

  • May operate forklift and other equipment as required

  • Assist with inventory, housekeeping, as required

  • May assist with filling cylinders in other areas of the facility

  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates and aligns with Airgas Safety Pledge and 12 Life Saving Rules

  • Exemplifies, promotes and develops safe work behaviors

  • Ensures all applicable regulatory (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA) requirements are met and applicable training and recordkeeping is performed to meet departmental and location deadlines

  • Essential job function requires the routine lifting in weight from 5 - 50 pounds Unconditioned work space (i.e. warm in summer, cool in winter)

  • Other duties and projects as assigned
