Job Summary

Canteen is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Inclusion to join our corporate team. Our DOI is responsible for owning the direction and evolution of Canteen's Culture, Equity and Inclusion strategy and long-term goals. They are an impactful member of Canteen's Senior Leadership team and will report directly to the COO and the SVP of Culture, Equity and Inclusion. As a member of the Operations Support Team, you help enable our operations through attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining the very best talent with a focus on establishing deeper connections, a shared purpose and well-being that creates the ability for our associates to fully engage and thrive. This role will collaborate with business and client partners beyond the broader Compass HR Community and COE's. Please note - this role is based in office (Charlotte, NC).

Job Summary:

Drive the continual evolution and execution of Canteen's People Leader-focused Culture strategy that modernizes the practice of equity, inclusion, and a belonging experience for all.

Cultivate and leverage relationships with internal partners (CEI leadership, Corporate, client partners, Branch Management and National Sales Team), as appropriate

Owns relationship with stakeholders (corporate and field) to drive execution of CEI&B initiatives.

Partner with CEO, CEO, VPHR, VPCE&I to collect input and shape their roles as champions of an inclusive work environment

Conduct and participate in training to educate associates and managers on how to raise the overarching CEIB agenda

Partner and collaborate with the leadership team to find opportunities for structural changes in Employer Branding, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning and Development

Serve as a Leader and Adviser on the DIAC

Build deep understanding of how processes and systems currently work within the operation, and drive changes needed to embed inclusion into the day-to-day practices related to attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse workforce

Shape, identify, capture, and manage strategic opportunities that support the DEI&B strategies

Position requirements:

Bachelor's degree with five+ years of experience in Diversity and Inclusion or relevant Human Resources leadership role(s)

Must possess thorough knowledge and experience in leading culture, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Active Member of relevant CE&I groups, forums, and partnerships (external & internal)

Ability to perform in a constantly evolving and ambiguous environment

Manages competing priorities and goals - you're efficacious with your time and partnerships

Competent navigating sophisticated business issues and applying critical thinking concepts to solve for the business challenges

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. You're persuasive, you're proactive, and you understand the importance of collaborative efforts in the CE&I space
