What Implementation Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Sales Support is responsible for providing sales support through direct involvement in the sales process, either by helping persuade customer buying decisions or involvement in the effective implementation of solutions to support the attainment of the organization's sales objectives.

Implementation Management is responsible for planning, organizing and leading solution implementations. Manages project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer. May be involved in budgeting and financial requirements. Monitors and tracks the progress of implementations. Partners with sales and the customer early in the process to develop implementation project plans. Works with management and peers to develop consistent methodologies based on best practices for efficiently implementing solutions.

Responsibilities ?Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of implementation and customer setup specialists
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity
  • Manage workload distribution, performance metrics, and career development plans
Customer Setup & Maintenance
  • Ensure accurate and timely setup of customer accounts, pricing, contracts, and service parameters in relevant systems
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity across platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards
  • Lead initiatives to streamline and automate setup and maintenance processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key liaison between the onboarding team and other departments to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate and influence CHIP offshore onboarding team for managing customer maintenance workload and issue resolution
Reporting & Analytics
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to onboarding timelines, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Use data insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field, preferred; advanced degree desired
  • 5+ years of experience in customer onboarding, data management, or operations within pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution, preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in people management with a proven ability to lead and develop teams, preferred
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution systems, customer data management, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP), preferred

  • Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
  • Gains consensus from various parties involved

Anticipated salary range:$103,500 - $147,900

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
