Job Title: Lockbox Data Entry Specialist Overview This role primarily focuses on data entry and verification of digital check information into the system. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and previous experience with 10-key data entry, preferably in a financial services environment. While the main responsibility is data entry, the candidate may also assist with other operational tasks as outlined below. Key Responsibilities * Primary Duties: * Manually enter check data (e.g., deposit amount, name, date) from digital copies into the appropriate system queries. * Verify accuracy of entered information to ensure compliance and data integrity. * Mail Sorting: * Sort bulk mail deliveries and route them to the correct staging area. * Wholesale Group (Lower volume, higher check amounts): * Open incoming mail received at the lockbox location. * Perform 10-key data entry to record deposit amounts into the correct accounts. * Retail Group (Higher volume, lower check amounts): * Operate automated mail-opening machines to process envelopes efficiently. Required Skills * Proficient in data entry and 10-key typing * Strong attention to detail * Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines * Effective oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience: * Minimum of 1 year in retail banking or lockbox operations * Previous experience in a financial services environment is highly preferred * Education: * High School diploma or equivalent required * Technical Skills: * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
