Job Description The primary responsibility of Drafter is to deliver complete and accurate drafting outputs, including drawings, shop details, and bills of materials (BOMs) while ensuring high quality and on-time delivery aligned with customer-specific requirements. This role demands advanced technical knowledge of commercial building systems, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs), detailing tools such as AutoCAD, and a deep understanding of interdepartmental processes and services. Strong proficiency in advanced trigonometry and geometry is also required.
Qualifications Drafter 1 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce neat, accurate, and easy-to-follow fabrication documents that reflect design calculations and comply with manufacturing limitations.
- Provide clear and accurate permits, approval, and erection drawings that meet purchase order requirements and include all necessary erection details.
- Manage a dynamic schedule that may include last-minute additions or shifting priorities.
- Communicate needs and challenges with the team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
