Position Title: Customer Success Analyst - Sales and CRM Data
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL On-site
Classification: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Work Schedules: 8am - 5pm


Summary
Are you a customer service professional with a passion for data? A global industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join the team as a Customer Success Analyst. This role is designed for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships and is eager to grow into a data-driven sales planning expert.
There is a clear program to help you transition into the role:
* Phase 1: Foundation - You'll start by mastering the products and building a deep understanding of customers through hands-on customer service and CRM management.
* Phase 2: Transition - As you gain product and customer knowledge, you'll begin to integrate data analysis into your work, focusing on POS data to identify trends and opportunities.
* Phase 3: Full Integration - You'll achieve full independence, seamlessly blending your customer-facing responsibilities with data analysis to drive sales strategy and forecasting.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing professional and timely support.
* Maintain and manage the company's CRM system to ensure all customer information and interactions are accurate.
* Develop and qualify new sales leads from various sources, including online inquiries and direct orders.
* Collaborate with the sales team to analyze customer Point-of-Sale (POS) data and identify market trends.
* Create reports and presentations to support sales forecasting and strategic planning.
* Assist in creating tailored proposals and product recommendations based on data insights and customer needs.
* Continuously improve customer support processes and CRM best practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.


Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Data Analytics) or equivalent professional experience.
* 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, sales support, or CRM administration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
* Knowledge of machinery, or industrial business is a plus, but not required.
* A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the company.
