Anakim Consulting Inc. has an opening for an expert level Cybersecurity Specialist with Telephony experience to work onsite in support of complex network environment. The Cybersecurity Specialist will work in support of a transition from the current Cisco Telephony users for both Cisco desk phones and Cisco Jabber client users to the Microsoft Telephony platform.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to work as part of a collaborative engineering team and support independent tasks, as assigned. This position requires an expert-level analyst mindset and the ability to show attention to detail for troubleshooting, hands-on tasks, and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide expert-level information cybersecurity support to a government customer across a variety of engineering tasks for a telephony transition project to ensure safety of information systems data assets.
• Work with senior level government staff to develop, promote, and implement security processes and procedures.
• Apply expert knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments including ensuring task completion for E911 compliance, integrating with E911 service providers and validating accurate location information for all users.
• Support enterprise cybersecurity standards including domain structures, user authentication, digital signatures, and firewall configuration.
• Work in coordination with government to develop and implement cybersecurity standards and procedures and make recommendations for organization-wide security processes.
• Provide analysis to identify and report security violations.
• Provide recommendations to satisfy cybersecurity requirements for CSPP, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
• Support design and development of security features for system architecture requirements.
• Maintain responsibility for completing assigned projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
• Support on-site work schedule.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship)
• Ability to obtain security access approval (Public Trust level)
• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of related cybersecurity engineering expertise
• Experience supporting complex networking environments
• Experience with telephony platforms and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to relay technical information to non-technical users
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently, as assigned
• Availability to support on-site work schedule at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more Microsoft Telephony platform migration(s) is a plus
• Experience with Cisco Telephony platform migration(s) is a plus
