What You'll Be Doing
* Sterilize & Organize: Clean, sanitize, and package dental instruments using autoclaves and other sterilization equipment. * Track & Log: Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, spore testing, and inventory using our tracking system. * Support the Team: Respond to provider requests for specific instruments and handpieces, ensuring timely availability. * Stay Compliant: Follow OSHA standards and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients. * Communicate & Collaborate: Work closely with the Lead Sterilization Tech and other team members to address equipment or supply issues and improve processes. What You Bring Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: * Experience with sterilization, packaging, and infection control procedures * Familiarity with inventory systems and accurate record-keeping * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities * Understanding of medical/dental instruments and terminology * HSPA Certification preferred Top Skills: * Sterilization & autoclaving * Inventory accuracy & system use * Infection control compliance * Attention to detail & task prioritization Bonus Experience: * Background in dental or medical environments * Experience with surgical scheduling or instrument prep * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Why You'll Love This Role * Be a key player in delivering safe, high-quality dental care * Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment * Gain valuable experience in healthcare operations * Opportunities for growth and training *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
