The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy's field service team, where you'll support transformer technology and grid reliability across the power industry. Working within our growing US Services HUB, you'll solve technical challenges in electrical substations nationwide while building strong customer relationships. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced senior technicians, gaining hands-on training and real-world exposure to transformer service, maintenance, and diagnostic work. Your work will include specialized technologies like vacuum oil processing and equipment diagnostics while learning best practices in safety, quality, and customer engagement. This role is military friendly and well suited for Veterans, transitioning service members, and individuals with military technical experience. Skills gained through military occupations such as electrical systems, power generation, mechanical maintenance, or equipment repair translate well to this position. With up to 85% travel, you'll work in diverse environments and develop expertise across various technical challenges under the guidance of seasoned field professionals.
