Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer IV Duration: 12 months Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid, two days of WFH) Job Description: Sourcing for a Hydraulic Engineer, level IV, with 6 or more years of oil and gas pipeline experience. This is an "Operations Type" role and is not "Project Type" work. The candidate must have technical understanding of natural gas pipeline systems and gas flow, as well as broad knowledge of gas pipeline hydraulic simulation. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering. Candidate must be willing to work in fast-paced environment. Software program experience desired: FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas It is preferred for the candidate to have knowledge of SCADA systems and client's assets, a Professional Engineering designation, as well as experience with Gas Control, Scheduling, outage coordination, or Design. Additional skill sets: problem solving, critical thinking with hypothetical scenario experience, strong prioritization skills, strong organizational & communication skills, ability to own and work issues to resolution, and maintains collaborative working relationships with others.
