The Campbell's Company is seeking a Communications Manager to join a dynamic communications team focused on strategic storytelling spanning both internal and external communications. We're looking for a high-energy, forward-thinking person who wants to join a purpose-driven company and who flourishes in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a business-savvy communicator who can seamlessly navigate internal and external communications to elevate our company's reputation and drive engagement. This role spans media relations, issues management, policy communications, employee engagement, and executive communications-helping to tell our story across audiences and channels.

What You Will Do...

  • Support internal and external communications initiatives that align with business priorities and protect and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Drive proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with business, trade, local and community press.
  • Monitor critical issues impacting the company's business, brand, and reputation; prepare mitigation and response plans for time-sensitive situations.
  • Shape and support executive visibility plan for operating committee.
  • Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and communications KPIs to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.
  • Partner with corporate functions (growth office and finance) to develop and deliver internal engagement strategies that connect employees to company priorities, culture, and change initiatives.
  • Create compelling internal content-including messages, campaigns, and engagement experiences-for town halls, leadership meetings, and enterprise initiatives.

Who You Will Work With...

  • This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Vice President Communications, External Affairs.
  • This role will work cross-functionally with our growth office, interacting with legal, investor relations, HR, PR, and social teams.

What You Bring to the Table... (Must Haves)

  • 6-8 years of experience in communications with a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in internal and external communications, including storytelling, strategic planning, culture-building, media relations and change management.
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills across a range of formats (presentations, digital content, social media, blogs, video, newsletters, etc.).

It Would Be Great if You Have... (Nice to Have)

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence and partner with leaders across a matrixed organization.
  • Skilled in media relations, policy communications, and issues management.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience using collaboration and publishing tools (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint); design and editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video) are a plus.'
  • General business and financial literacy. Strong interest in the news and current events shaping the business environment.
  • Strong research and fact-checking capabilities
  • Experience in a public company or agency background preferred
  • Adaptable, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$105,800-$152,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
