Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating compelling visuals that support campaigns, internal initiatives, and brand consistency. This role contributes to a wide range of design projects while upholding our visual identity across all channels.

Responsibilities:



  • Use artistic skills and design principles to develop exclusive visuals for desired flooring products and prepare artwork for internal approval
  • Assist in managing the organization, color correction, and resizing of all marketing assets (product scans, product photography, room renderings, designer palettes, logos, website imagery, digital media, etc.)
  • Provide accurate and timely proofing, fact checking, copy writing, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of new marketing materials for a product launch
  • Create social media graphics based on calendars provided by the Content Marketing Manager and Social Media Strategist
  • Create and develop digital materials for trade shows, corporate meetings, conferences, and training needs
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns
  • Create animated graphics or short videos for digital platforms
  • Maintain and update design files and templates for various marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure digital content meets specifications
  • Assist the Content Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager with miscellaneous marketing projects
  • Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams

  • Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within the discipline
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data


Experience/Education Requirements:



  • Associates degree or higher in Digital Design or Graphic Design is required
  • 5+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe CC Apps)
  • Must be well organized and self-motivated
  • Must be willing to learn and take direction well
  • Must work with a high degree of precision and detail
  • Must understand pixel resolutions and how to convert file formats for both print and web
  • Must be able to work under extreme time factors
  • Must have excellent word processing, spreadsheet, and database management skills - Microsoft Office, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must be able to work in an open office setting
  • Good communication skills necessary, both verbally and written
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality about sensitive information
  • Ability to work well in a multi-task environment
  • Some travel could be required


Other Requirements:



  • Must produce acceptable results on color test
  • Lifting is occasionally required for weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Stooping and/or reaching are required occasionally
  • Standing and/or walking are required up to 2 hours a day
  • Computer keyboard entry and computer monitor viewing are required for up to 8 hours daily
  • Perform other approved duties as directed by leadership
