As the Director leading Cisco's US Public Sector (USPS) Sales Legal team, you will serve as the strategic legal partner to our US Public Sector Sales organization, providing expert counsel and guidance on all aspects of commercial contracting with federal, state, and local government customers. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will collaborate closely with senior sales leadership and cross-functional partners-including finance, compliance, and operations-to develop and execute legal and contracting strategies that align with business objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk mitigation. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of legal professionals supporting a diverse portfolio of SaaS, hardware, and services transactions, ensuring high standards of quality and customer service. You will play a critical role in supporting critically important government programs and will have the opportunity to work in secure facilities as required. • Juris Doctor (JD)with active bar admission and extensive experience (12+ years) in legal roles supporting sales, preferably in the technology sector and public sector markets.
• Strong knowledge of government contracting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks applicable to US public sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing legal teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with proven track record for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting multiple stakeholders.
• This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance of Secret or Top Secret, with willingness to maintain such clearance for the duration of your employment in this role.

• Active Secret or Top Secret U.S. government security clearance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using legal technology and AI tools to streamline processes, enhance contract review, and improve overall team efficiency.
• Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new technologies within legal and cross-functional teams.
