About The Position

The Recruiting Coordinator on the Talent Enablement & Recruitment (TE&R) team plays an essential role in creating a superior candidate experience alongside our Recruiters and hiring teams. The core function of the Recruiting Coordinator is providing administrative support associated with every aspect of the full-cycle hiring process. This includes building trust-based relationships with Recruiters and Hiring leaders by providing efficient and accurate scheduling support and consistent, professional communication and follow up. The Recruiting Coordinator represents the Ameren Recruiting organization to all partners, stakeholders, and candidates, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and consistent, high-quality work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support through the recruitment process:

    • Partner with assigned Recruiters and Hiring Leaders to balance event/meeting requests, manage calendar conflicts and communicate changes as needed.

    • Schedule and organize large volumes of complex virtual and on-site interviews between candidates and recruiters/managers with a focus on customer experience.

    • Schedule pre-employment testing for requested roles. Serve as resource to proctor onsite employment testing when needed.

    • Initiate, monitor and report background check and drug test results ensuring timeliness of delivery. Review for red flags and escalate to Recruiter and Recruitment Managers as necessary.

    • Ensure data accuracy for all information housed in recruiting systems.

  • Facilitate an excellent pre-boarding and onboarding candidate experience:

    • Provide timely, clear communication to Hiring Leaders to educate them on their role in a successful onboarding experience

    • Deliver clear communication and support to the new co-worker on items needed to onboard with Ameren.

    • Coordinate with Digital team to ensure accurate equipment delivery and provisioning

    • Focus on compliance in processing of I9 and record retention

  • Assist in processing and setting up partner events with accuracy, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

  • Foster exceptional partnerships with recruiters, hiring teams, other HR Coordinators and HR Associates, and cross functional partners, prioritizing timely follow-up and follow-through, thoroughness in work product and attention to detail. Execute high quality work that addresses the needs of those partnerships.

  • Bring continuous improvement ideas forward to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work. Maintain quality control within Recruitment by ensuring every communication that leaves the TE&R department reflects the quality of Ameren standards. Identify any documents that are out of date or do not meet current communication standards.

  • Effectively handle sensitive/confidential information

  • Provide other TE&R administrative support including but not limited to: vendor set up; processing invoices and candidate expenses; records retention and management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3+ years of applicable experience in high volume administrative support role required.

  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business or related field accepted in lieu of 3 years work experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Microsoft Outlook required.

  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.

  • Excellent verbal communication with exceptional written communication skills.

  • Intense process focus with tremendous attention to detail

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A team mindset with a recognition and commitment to positively impact the overall team, not just individual performance

  • Understanding of applicant tracking or CRM-type systems (preferred).

Additional Information:

The Recruiting Coordinator works a hybrid work schedule flexing time between home and office environment. Time in office is 3 days per week. Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$52,200.00 - $75,700.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
