Job Description

Role - Reserve & Order Optimization Manager



Responsibilities (main) -



  1. Minimize expense and risk associated with slow/nonmoving inventory by closely monitoring existing and identifying potential "Reserve" parts. Once identified the ROOM will coordinate actions with Sales Managers, Customer Support Representatives and Product Managers to promote/sell these PNs to previous or potentially new customers.
  2. Monitor "Stopped" and "Past due" orders to ensure actions are being taken with the appropriate functional team members to advance the order to "Filled" status.
  3. Load prices from suppliers categorized under "BRK".
  4. Load all new contract PNs awarded by customer.


* Experience - Bachelor's Degree, Minimum of 5 years in the field of Aerospace

Requirements

Primary Duties -




  1. Develop a competence in the company's Reserve policy (qualification, categories, etc.).
  2. Utilize Syteline and BI reports (to include but not limited to consolidated estimates) to research the history (cost base, sales history).
  3. Utilize in-house and external tools to understand customers who have applicable fleets to target for promotion.
  4. Coordinate special pricing that may be needed with the Product Manager and Director of Distribution Sales.
  5. Coordinate special pricing with the Sales Managers to promote to the customers who have Regional sales managers assigned.
  6. Reach out to house accounts and brokers to quickly negotiate the sale.
  7. Ensure controls are in place to avoid subsequent purchases.
  8. Develop expertise with BI reports to monitor and identify "Stopped" orders in Bookings Analysis and Past Due orders and resolve with appropriate functional teams.
  9. At a minimum on an annual basis upload new supplier (coded as "BRK") price lists.
  10. Upload "contract" prices for new part numbers provided by contract manager, sales managers or Director distribution sales.



Other Duties & Expectations -




  1. Help with key projects related to the sales and product manager teams where requested, by the Director of Distribution Sales.
  2. Respond to e-mail same day.
  3. Be cordial and respectful of all team members.
  4. Effectively utilize computer tools, systems and reports to access information independently.
