Mechanical Detailer Job Responsibilities:
*Application of CAD skills necessary to complete assignment requirements.
*Responsible for the verification of component details necessary to meet customers" objectives, clearances, manufacturing requirements and functionality.
*Responsible to support department design and drawing reviews.
*Communicate job status to senior designer, engineering and management on a daily basis.
*Assist the design department in other capacities such as in detailing and checking, with guidance.
*Continue to strive to be the best in class. (New CAD methods/training, serviceability, manufacturing process, etc.)
*Responsible to support department Quality System and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects.

Mechanical Detailer Job Qualifications
*Candidate should have a working knowledge of Catia, NX, and/or Solidworks.
*Associate"s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school pertaining to mechanical designer/engineering; or in the process of obtaining a degree.
*Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
*Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
*Demonstrated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing capability.
*Related CAD training classes
