This position is responsible for coordinating service and repair activities for Vehicle Acquisition Services to include ordering, receiving, and distributing parts for the Mechanic Shop and Body Shop. This position is also responsible for generating, receiving, and paying purchase orders through established systems. Additional duties may include maintaining inventories of shop tools and supplies. Job Responsibilities: Order, receive and distribute parts for the Mechanic Shop and Body Shop Utilize Oracle iProcurement system to procure and reconcile purchases and returns of parts Ensure timely ordering and processing of purchase orders through iProcurement and/or AP shared service center Maintain inventory control in all applicable systems Maintain electronic records in all applicable systems Verify inventory at the end of the month Supervise shop personnel and perform other duties at the direction of the Mechanic Shop Manager Maintain neat and orderly work space Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working specific areas. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. High school diploma or GED equivalency Experience in an automotive related business Prior parts counter/management experience at large automotive parts supplier, repair facility or dealership Competent office skills, i.e. using telephone, PC, Microsoft Office Solid math skills Able to work independently Solid organizational skills Valid driver's license Ability to sit for long periods of time Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be able to bend, squat and outstretch arms. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Equipment / Job Tools General office equipment (copier, fax, telephone, mobile device) Computer and hand-held devices Personal Protective Equipment AS400, ECR, AutoPoint, and Oracle-based systems Work Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Exposure to noise, dust, fluids, vehicle fumes, odors, mechanical and electrical shock hazards. Moderate noise level MSCOX USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
