Description
We are seeking a Coordinator OR Manager to join our team at Henry Holt & Company. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced professional crucial to managing the operational lifecycle of our catalog of 45-60 frontlist titles annually, as well as an extensive backlist of more than 3,000 titles. This role requires a blend of operational expertise and an understanding of the publishing workflow from acquisition to publication. The position will report to the Associate Publisher, working closely with them, and will also work with editorial, managing editorial and production, marketing, publicity, and art to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow. We are looking for someone curious, engaged, super-organized, and excited to be a part of almost every facet of book publishing. The position is an opportunity to join a close-knit and forward-looking team under new leadership. Holt is growing its title count and broadening its list to publish across categories with an emphasis on editorial quality and ambition, as well as creative and dedicated publicity and marketing. Based on the level and years experience, this role will have an annual salary of $60,000-$80,000.
