Employment Status: Full Time or Part Time Seasonal Wage Range: $15.00 -$16.00/hr Minimum Age: 16 Background Check Required: No Driver Verification Required: No Position Summary: Position monitors validity of ticket/passes to limit fraudulent use. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Checks every ticket or season pass using a radio scanner. May cross train with other elements of the Lift Operations Department. Assists with snow shoveling and crowd control maze set-up. Secondary Responsibilities: Also, works in cooperation with Schweitzer Security. Must be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain facilities and amenities. Must be comfortable working with large groups of people. Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - None Technical - None Physical Capabilities - Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures. Able to assist guests stand up with the possibility of lifting 50+ pounds. Additional - Previous skiing or snowboarding experience is a plus but not required. Good communication skills required; guest service; team spirit attitude. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication skills, basic math skills. Some computer knowledge required. Minimum time in a related position - Skiing or snowboarding background helpful but not required.
