Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Classic Hematology Full Time Days Detroit and Clinics

Now is the time to join our team is this newly created classical hematology APP role! Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant be working in collaboration with the classical hematology team of APP's and physicians. The bulk of patient population will be iron deficiency anemia, benign diseases of the blood, lymph and bone marrow. APP will be helping with this specific patient population potentially leading to long term patient relationships, working autonomously in a supportive APP team.

• This position is located at the Henry Ford Brigette Harris Cancer Pavilion with along with our clinics in Novi, Bloomfield Township and Dearborn
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.
• Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.
• Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.
• Hours 8-4:30, no weekends at this time though there is potential for Saturday clinics in the future.
