Summary of Role:

The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations, serves as an essential member of the Finance team, acting as a bridge between Hershey's executive leadership and the investment community. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Investor Relations, this role is charged with supporting all facets of Hershey's investor relations initiatives. The analyst's primary mission is to facilitate accurate, transparent, and timely communication of Hershey's growth opportunities, strategic direction, and financial performance to shareholders, analysts, and potential investors-contributing directly to the company's reputation and perceived value in the marketplace.

In this role, the senior analyst will aid in the preparation and execution of all communications and processes related to investor relations. This includes collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, and ESG, to ensure that Hershey's messaging is consistent, effective, and aligned with corporate strategy. The analyst will collect and analyze financial data and develop presentation materials and press releases, and should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The analyst will also play a pivotal role in planning and executing quarterly earnings cycles, the annual general meeting, and other significant investor events.

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting & Prep Materials



  • Assist with implementing the investor relations strategy by supporting projects and initiatives that strengthen Hershey's reputation and contribute to value creation.
  • Support the execution of quarterly and annual earnings preparation by gathering relevant data and content from internal teams, assisting in the development of executive Q&A, scripts, and preparation materials, and ensuring all required information is accurately compiled and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams-including Corporate Communications, External Reporting, and Legal-to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment during quarterly earnings cycles and other major events.
  • Working with Senior Manager, Investor Relations, summarize relevant financial market news and reactions to Hershey and peer performance/events.



Data & Analysis



  • Collect and analyze peer and industry data for IR and internal cross functional teams including corporate FP&A and HR to support board of director materials (e.g. consensus updates, peer comparisons)
  • Own the CRM process (investor profiles, meeting notes, targeting lists), including the creation of engagement metrics, feedback summaries, support for presentation materials and KPIs



Events & Logistics



  • Assist in planning, coordinating and execution of Investor Day, CAGNY, and other strategic meetings or conferences, as well as ongoing investor calls.
  • Create gift boxes and coordinate delivery of product samples for annual meeting and other events.
  • Support the IR budget by tracking and processing purchase orders, change orders, and invoices for department vendors
  • Explore and leverage technology and AI tools in IR processes.



External Communications



  • Maintain and update the Investor Relations website with timely and accurate content; facilitate and execute annual Factbook update
  • Manage communications received/sent via general investor relations inboxes, including email, phone, mail, including earnings and events announcements.
  • Working with Senior Manager, Investor Relations, oversight and administration of Transfer Agent and shareholder communications relating to our dividend payment, stock plans, and tax reporting letters.
  • Coordinate communications with Hershey Trust Company and other key stakeholders.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Education -

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field


  • Experience -

    • At least 3 years of corporate functions experience (commercial, marketing, accounting, finance, communication, etc.)
