The Role and Team

Medallia is seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market efforts for our AI and analytics innovations. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing - shaping how we bring powerful, data-driven capabilities to market and communicate their value to customers, prospects, and partners.

You'll be responsible for messaging, launches, sales enablement, content creation, and overall positioning of our AI-driven insights and analytics capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, can simplify the technical into the relatable, and is energized by building deep cross-functional relationships to drive business impact.

We're looking for a compelling storyteller, a confident presenter, and a self-starter who treats their work like their own business. Experience in AI or analytics is a plus - curiosity, clarity, and communication are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Develop crisp, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with technical and business audiences across industries, clearly articulating our differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for product and feature launches, collaborating closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Create and deliver enablement that equips Sales, Services, and Partners to confidently communicate the value and differentiation of AI and analytics capabilities.
  • Craft clear, engaging content for a range of use cases - from decks and one pagers to web copy and competitive battlecards.
  • Educate and enable Medallia customers and end users on how to maximize the value of our AI- and analytics-powered capabilities.
  • Represent Medallia as a thought leader in executive briefings, client engagements, industry events, and analyst discussions.
  • Serve as a key contributor in analysts briefings, helping analysts understand and accurately represent our AI and analytics capabilities and strategic direction.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both internal stakeholders and external audiences - including non-technical buyers.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy.
  • Measure and optimize the impact of product marketing efforts on awareness, pipeline, and revenue.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience for a SaaS product or platform, marketing complex, technical capabilities to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated storytelling experience taking complex products to tell a compelling and succinct story
  • Demonstrated experience delivering presentations to executives, clients, and conference audiences
  • Demonstrated project management experience including juggling multiple initiatives
  • Experience building cross-functional alignment across product, sales, marketing and services teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing AI, data, or analytics products (or similarly technical domains)
  • Passion for and track record of simplifying complex ideas into compelling, business-oriented narratives for diverse audiences
  • Background in customer experience, employee experience, or enterprise feedback management
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, go-to-market frameworks, and value-based marketing best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to prioritize high-impact work, filter out noise, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Skilled at identifying risks, resolving issues proactively, and communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and drive initiatives forward
