The Role and Team
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Presentation Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a strong portfolio showcasing high-level presentation work, and the ability to create polished, brand-aligned materials that bring ideas to life. As a Presentation Designer, you will collaborate closely with the VP of Brand, Creative Director and other team members to design, refine, and deliver compelling presentations that engage, inform, and inspire key audiences.


Responsibilities

Design & Execution

  • Develop compelling visuals across presentations, print, digital, social, video, and web.
  • Take projects from concept to final deliverable, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project goals.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and deliver innovative design solutions that elevate storytelling.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and on brief.
  • Create drafts and mockups for review, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.
  • Ensure all deliverables are visually engaging, on-brand, and tailored to the right audience.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with copywriters, marketers, and cross-functional teams to produce cohesive, impactful campaigns.
  • Maintain clear communication throughout the design process to keep projects aligned and efficient.
  • Present design concepts and ideas confidently to stakeholders, gathering input and securing approvals.

Expertise & Abilities

  • Proficient in industry-standard design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Skilled in presentation design across platforms such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote, with a focus on clarity and visual impact.
  • Maintain and iterate on an existing Google Slides template
  • Eager to learn and adapt, with a strong interest in exploring new design programs and expanding your creative toolkit.
  • In tune with design culture, staying ahead of evolving trends, techniques, and emerging technologies.
  • Bonus: Experience with animation and motion design.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered design tools such as Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or ChatGPT.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of professional experience in presentation or visual design incorporating typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in Google Slides, Powerpoint and Keynote
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Figma
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and training sessions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience in Marketing and/or Corporate environments
  • Expertise in Google Slides, Powerpoint & Keynote
  • Advanced in Figma
  • Experience working in SaaS, B2B or CX
  • Motion design, animation, data visualization experience
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with sales, product marketing or learning/development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - 125,000 USD. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
