Overview of this Position:

The Sr. Project Management Specialist is responsible for the creation, administration, and execution of GRAM's project management training and systems, specifically Smartsheet and SharePoint. They serve as the Project Management Training Specialist/Coordinator, Smartsheet and SharePoint SME and are responsible for training the GRAM project management team. They are also responsible for quality control on the use of project management tools, creating and continuously improving current and future project related workspaces, tool templates, dashboards, reports and metrics related to project schedules, risk management solutions, ongoing customer service training with core project team members, and the on-site customer service experience.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Familiarity with project management techniques, timelines, and tools.
  • Training or certification in project management, SharePoint administration and control.
  • Demonstrated leadership working with teams.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in Project Management, IT, development, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years related work experience in project management
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • PMP Certification, preferred.
  • Have, or ability to attain, Smartsheet Core App and System Admin certification, preferred.
  • Have, or ability to attain, Smartsheet project management certification, preferred.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Work with Project Management Leadership Team (PMLT) and project managers to build and maintain effective workspaces used as project management tools.
  • Superuser in SmartSheet and SharePoint; build and enhance tools.
  • Create, maintain, and act as GRAM's Project Manager Training/Coordinator for project management training to be given to the project management team and other GRAM project team members.
  • Create onboarding tools for new project management team members (which includes understanding of "GRAM" processes and functions).
  • Ability to gain and maintain a robust understanding of all GRAM project management tools and electronic systems.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement solutions to current project tools and electronic systems.
  • Assist in the creation of and participation in delivering well-organized presentations.
  • Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction through use of PM tools, techniques, and skills.
  • Establish and lead the customer on-site experience team.
  • Generate customer packets, logistics, meeting planning and execution, ensure areas (office/conference rooms) are maintained and provide a positive customer experience.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
