Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122 bed facility specializing in general adult psych, adolescents, geriatric, and women's services. The hospital is located in southwest Houston serving the Houston and surrounding communities. Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is conveniently located between the Galleria and Meyer land shopping districts, and is only minutes away from the Houston Medical Center, Downtown, and Midtown. Our continuum of care includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to stabilize symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health disorders. Much more available online at: https://bhbhospital.com/ Nurse Supervisor (RN) Position Summary: Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a day shift Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing department staff throughout the hospital during their assigned shift. Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years inpatient nursing required. Prior experience in a and supervisory role is preferred. Licensure: Currently licensed as an RN to practice as issued by the Texas State Board of Nursing. Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation. Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of JCAHO, Medicare, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
