Senior Associate Infrastructure L2
As a Senior Associate Infrastructure L2, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with engineering teams to optimize cloud environments and support business-critical applications.
Your Impact
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Implement automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud architecture for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Maintain security best practices in cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing of cloud-based applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with GCP.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Set Yourself Apart With
- Certifications in GCP (e.g. Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
