Job Title: Technical Business Analyst II

Location: New York NY 10007

Duration: 12 months contract will be extended

Pay Rate: $33 /Hr. without benefits
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night):Day (8 AM- 5 PM) or 9 am -6 pm


Job Description:

  • Under general supervision, work on various Client program areas' projects which require highly technical design, implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and analysis of software systems while functioning at moderate or high levels of difficulty with a considerable degree of latitude for independent initiative and judgment. Responsibilities and skills required but are not limited to reviewing and developing detailed system specifications and modifying existing systems to accommodate the Client program area's changing business needs. Develop, design, implement, enhance, maintain, and analyze database systems, queries, and procedures. Please see attached for additional Job description duties.
  • The Technical Business Analyst (Level 2) will support the completion and submission of the annual funding application on behalf of the and any other NOFO's released related . As a part of this large-scale funding application process, the temporary senior analyst will research best practices, work with stakeholders to gather information for funding application(s) and write and/or edit any documents submitted as a part of the application. (50%)
  • The Technical Business Analyst (Level 2) will work with the Team on organizational management activities. Activities may include development of presentations for the, drafting meeting summaries, coordinating meetings and/or other work related to the support of the annual funding application. (25%)
  • The Technical Business Analyst (Level 2) will assist with the development of specific materials, working with the unit and not-for-profit agencies to contribute to work being done by several committees (25%):
  • Improve the health and well-being of individuals who are experiencing , increase their chances of succeeding in permanent housing and independent living, and decrease morbidity and mortality
  • Improve food safety, compliance with Food Standards and the overall nutritional status and nutrition knowledge of individuals who are experiencing homelessness and residing in Client sites
  • Monitor homeless health and morality
  • Provide clinical consultation
  • The Health Services Office seeks a qualified candidate to serve at the Special Project Coordinator to:
  • Conduct literature review and use data visualization techniques to create slide presentations
  • Review existing data produced by staff and draft and coordinate manuscripts for publication, in collaboration with staff
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration with homeless healthcare providers, organize meetings to discuss programs and interventions and present research findings; organize Doctor's Hours and other' meetings
  • Provide high level administrative support such as arranging complex and detailed travel and project plans, manage the office shared drive and documents; maintain emergency contacts hospitals contacts lists
  • Update Client-affiliated onsite medical clinics survey, analyze and summarize results
  • Preferred professional type: Bachelor or master in science (underway or completed), public health, English/writing or related field
  • Needed skills: Strong writing skills, research and data interpretation and translation into clear writing; project management experience; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work as part of a team.
