West-Receiving Team Leader-2nd Shift - Columbus, IN

NTN Driveshaft Inc, a world leader in constant velocity technology for the automotive industry, is currently seeking a qualified Production Control Team Leader for our Columbus Indiana operation. NTN currently has 1800 employees working in our Columbus operation and customer demand for our product is growing rapidly. NTN Driveshaft manufactures Constant Velocity Joints (CVJs) for all of the major automotive companies. These customers include Honda, Ford, Toyota, GM, Chrysler and most other automotive OEMs.

Qualifications:

• High school or GED
• Forklift experience required
• Manufacturing Background

• Knowledge of JD Edwards or ERP experience
• Working knowledge of scanners

• General Math/English skills
• Safe fork truck operations
• Basic computer skills

Description of Job Duties:

• Ability to prioritize tasks and lead others to achieve daily goals
• Ensure JDE transaction are being completed
• Maintain 5S on all shipping docks
• Monitor shortages
• Maintain FIFO
• Help maintain dock inventory integrity on dock and racks
• Maintain smooth shift transfers with clear and concise communication
• Maintain shipping docks by making sure everything is in its place. Update and adhere to dock lay out sheets
• Break down dunnage and repack parts
• Able to physically perform unloading of steel trucks
