Your Responsibilities as an EHS AssociateConsultant 3/Scientist 3:



  • Executes tasks in support of EHS programs with strong direction and guidance from the Program Managers and National Practice Leader. The work may include compliance auditing, management system auditing, regulatory assessments, sampling, and report writing.
  • Ability to understand and build business with existing and new clients based on their specific needs.
  • Write professionally and technically proficient reports to provide quality deliverables for clients.
  • Provide recommendations for controls and corrective actions based on sampling results, auditing results and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists with compliance assurance audits, including data collection, employee interviews area walkthroughs, and risk assessments.
  • Assists with regulatory inspections and internal/external audits.
  • Supports on as-need basis during disaster/urgent response efforts at client facilities.
  • Develop industrial hygiene sampling plans, coordinate, and execute sampling with operations, maintenance, and other groups.
  • Support development and/or review and revision of safety compliance programs such as Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Tier II Chemical Inventory, LOTO etc.
  • Prepare technical documentation related to EHS Management Systems
  • Familiarity with ISO Management System Standards
  • Provide regular status updates to client site contacts and stakeholders, as well as internal stakeholders.


What we're looking for:



  • BA/BS/MS in Environmental Science/Engineering/Safety/Industrial Hygiene or a related field
  • 5-10 years of relevant comprehensive EHS experience
  • Ability to work independently at client facilities with little oversight
  • Aware of safety, environmental (i.e, OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, etc.) and other regulatory requirements
  • Effective communicator in both verbal and written formats
  • Highly effective team player and collaborator. Strong comfort working in a matrix environment and leveraging expertise across functions. This may include participating in agile teams focused on creating value for the business
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as the Google suite of programs.
