POSITION SCOPE

The Contract Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to manage and oversee contracts and subcontracts, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, insurance requirements, DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) goals, and applicable agency regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract compliance, change management, and experience working with federal, state, and local agencies.

PRIMARY DUTIES



  • Administer and monitor contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with labor laws, DBE/SBE/HUBZone goals, insurance requirements, and agency-specific regulations.
  • Manage and track contract change orders, amendments, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to track and report DBE, SBE, and HUBZone participation.
  • Review and validate subcontractor documentation, including certificates of insurance, certified payrolls, and compliance reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and agencies such as ADOT, Caltrans, NDOT, CBP, and USACE, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Support procurement and contract negotiation processes with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Work cooperatively with other employees
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in infrastructure, transportation, or government-funded projects.
  • Proven experience managing compliance with DBE, HUBZone, and SBE goals.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract change order managementand tracking amendments or approvals.
  • Familiarity with agency requirements and procedures for ADOT, Caltrans, NDOT, CBP, and USACE.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and insurance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion is often required
