Our Space team in Salt Lake City, UT is eagerly looking for a Senior Expeditor to join their dynamic team. You will join the Supply Chain team, reporting directly to our Materials Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment on 1st shift (9/80 schedule, M-Th 7am - 4pm and every other F from 7am - 3pm).

As a Senior Expeditor, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:

  • Support supply chain strategies, ensuring various raw materials/products/components are delivered in a timely manner

  • Coordinate with internal teams, and logistics to optimize shipping, reduce lead times, ensure project deadlines are met and supply chain disruptions are minimized

  • Track orders, resolve issues, and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Prepare and maintain expediting reports, ensuring data is accurately input into relevant systems

  • Identify potential risks to the supply chain/project schedule and implement corrective actions to resolve

  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset, identifying enhancements to logistics processes

  • Communicate critical information to Quality, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to relay and coordinate non-conformance issues and product release

To be considered for this Senior Expeditor role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; additional Technical/Vocational training or certifications related to supply chain, materials management or similar is highly desired

  • 5+ years of relevant shipping/logistics/expediting in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred

  • Must have strong computer skills, including MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems

  • Planning experience is preferred

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
