About the Job:
As a VP, Creative Director, Art, you'll lead brand art teams, driving innovative, award-winning ideas and exceptional creative quality. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, you'll develop compelling strategies, foster team growth, and nurture strong client relationships as a champion of creative excellence. Expertise spans creative ideation, executional craft, strategic thinking, and team management.
A Day in the Life:
  • Creative Ideation: Develop brand personality, positioning, and briefs across multiple brands, empowering teams to create cutting-edge concepts.
  • Executional Craft: Ensure high-quality art production, photo shoots, CGI, illustration, video, and film, collaborating with production teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with agency departments, aligning creative vision and deadlines.
  • Client Management: Build strong relationships through creative ability, active communication, and expectation management.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate expert understanding of accounts, categories, and competitive landscapes, informing marketing strategies.
  • Talent Management & Development: Lead Art teams, mentor copy teams, and oversee hiring, staffing, and career development.
  • Business & Resource Management: Optimize Art/Copy team utilization, productivity, and efficiency, partnering with Creative Resourcing.
  • New Business: Lead creative pitch efforts, identify growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Agency & Culture: Serve as agency ambassador, elevate employee experience, and maintain the company's creative leader reputation.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art and Design or related field (preferred).
  • 12+ years in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art Direction and Design or related field.
  • Comprehensive digital portfolio demonstrating creative ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • General Pharma Advertising Industry knowledge (preferred).
  • Expert art direction, financial management, resourcing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Professionalism and commitment to achieving results.
Salary
$170,000 to $240,000 Annually
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
