OVERVIEW

Come join the General Mills Snacks operating unit as an Commercial Spend & Media Analytics Associate Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering measurement and analytics insights to guide commercial investment decisions across the Bars, Fruit Snacks & Pizza Rolls businesses. You will partner closely with internal and external measurement partners on all aspects from data collection to results delivery, as well as with marketing and brand teams and external media agencies in the application of insights to generate demand.

This role is central to driving the continued brand building of iconic food brands such as Nature Valley, Totino's, and Gushers - unlocking growth through differential decisions & analytics. We are looking for a solution-oriented Associate Manger with strong business acumen in translating marketing analytics/modeled results into insight for decision making and advancing the application of measurement capabilities at General Mills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver commercial marketing mix results - with holistic understanding of today's evolving media landscape and business impact
  • Partner with brand, finance, sales, and strategic revenue management teams to optimize total commercial investment
  • Partner with internal data & technology teams and measurement vendors to ensure data is model ready and results are delivered in a timely manner
  • Influence business leaders with consumer spend measurement insights and optimizations at key apertures- deeply understanding their business problems to deliver synthesized recommendations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing measurement analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in Analytics, preferably with Nielsen/IRI data in Sales or Marketing
  • Strong understanding of modern programmatic marketing dynamics and buy-side ecosystem
  • Strong background in syndicated market data, analyzing business performance to tell a consumer story with credibility
  • Ability to synthesize data and insights across a portfolio of brands, build a clear and compelling story, and bring forward a point of view to key stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master's Degree in related field

Salary Range



The salary range for this position is $93700.00 - $156300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
