Description The Internal Auditor supports the Audit Department in reviewing operational and business processes by identifying risks, analyzing workflows, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall profitability across the Corporation. And perform financial reviews. The role also includes conducting financial reviews. Key responsibilities include: * Documenting and testing internal processes and controls * Assisting in the preparation and review of audit findings and corresponding action plans * Conducting comprehensive audits encompassing the full audit cycle: planning, fieldwork, and reporting * Other responsibilities as assigned. This position requires approximately 15% travel. Key Skills and Qualifications: * Strong understanding of internal control principles, with hands-on experience in planning, executing, managing, and reporting on evaluations of business processes, areas, and functions * Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism * Skilled in conducting operational audits and performing internal control assessments * Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and leadership, supported by sound analytical thinking and business acumen * Committed to professional integrity and ethical conduct. * Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight, while consistently providing timely updates to team members * Proficient in audit software, data analytics tools, and business applications, including Oracle, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio * Solid understanding of industry regulations and recognized best practices * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent audit experience (minimum one year), with a foundation in financial accounting and audit methodologies * CPA or CIA certification preferred (either completed or actively in progress) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
