A Taste of What You'll Do Join our innovative team and contribute to the fascinating world of beverage production as a Research Associate, focusing on applied microbiology to enhance our production processes. You will play a key role in planning and executing research projects, under the guidance of senior staff, aimed at developing industrially viable yeast strains for beverage fermentations. In this dynamic role, you will conduct laboratory-scale microbiological and molecular biology experiments, to isolate and improve novel microbe strains. Your expertise will contribute to understanding fermentation phenotypes. You will support laboratory functions, trials at laboratory, pilot, and plant scales, driving improvements in commercial processes and beverage quality. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with Gallo's regulatory and legal standards, as you manage microbial strain collections and maintain research notebooks.
