Operator 2, Bakery-Warehouse - 2nd Shift

As a Warehouse Operator II, where you'll play a crucial role in the efficient and safe handling of bakery products and equipment. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse. Your commitment to safety, quality assurance, and adherence to protocols will help maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload bakery products, equipment, and supplies from delivery vehicles and trucks, using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ensure products and equipment are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently, minimizing damage and spoilage.
• Follow established loading and unloading procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of loaded, unloaded finish goods or equipment, and complete necessary paperwork in SAP.
• Organize and store bakery products and equipment in designated areas within the warehouse, following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
• Assist with other warehouse and bakery tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification preferred
