What We Do

First American is looking to add a Title Assistant to our growing team. In this role, you will work in adynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Title team in a wide range of administrative duties including creating and maintaining title files, documenting all research, and auditing calculations and legal documents. This position plays a key role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the title process.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
Performs administrative support for title and/or escrow operations Update and gather information Facilitate customer requests and respond to inquiries, internal and external Routine administrative duties may include proofreading, gathering information, pulling documents, order intake, reviewing data, posting, courthouse recorder, production typing and file preparation Other duties as assigned
RECORDING DUTIES:
Compiling, reviewing recording packages and submitting them in the electronic recording system Compiling, reviewing and coordinating the submittal of recording packages that are physically submitted Working with the recording bureau on rejects and issues with recorded documents Uploading into the production system the receipt and the recorded documents that have been submitted physically Coordinating the return of specifically identified recorded documents Retrieving certified documents and condo maps at the recording bureau Petition prep, drop off, approval monitoring and uploading into the production system and emailing to the escrow officer or title officer, as directed, a copy of the issued order and receipt
