As an Environmental Marketing Intern at Cox Enterprises, you'll support key marketing and creative initiatives that help advance the company's environmental and biodiversity goals. You'll work alongside a passionate team and global partners to help develop campaigns that protect wild fish in wild places and drive meaningful environmental change.

This internship offers hands-on experience in campaign development, creative strategy, and partner collaboration. You'll gain exposure to real-world marketing challenges and contribute to impactful projects while learning from experienced professionals.

What You'll Do

As an intern, you'll assist with:

  • Supporting the development of marketing strategies and identifying target audiences.
  • Helping craft creative briefs and contributing ideas for print, digital, and video assets.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and NGO partners to bring campaign ideas to life.
  • Conducting research to uncover consumer insights and environmental trends.
  • Assisting in tracking campaign performance and preparing reports.
  • Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Helping coordinate logistics for campaign launches and partner communications.
  • Learning how to manage budgets and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in environmental issues and sustainability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.


Preferred:

  • Experience with creative writing, graphic design, or video editing.
  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in marketing or environmental organizations.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and participating in group discussions.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.

USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
