ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Federal is seeking passionate professionals to architect and deliver advanced security solutions that protect and enable the mission-critical work of the U.S. Federal Government, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community. We are looking for candidates motivated by impact, eager to safeguard national interests, and committed to staying ahead of emerging threats. With Microsoft's extensive skilling resources and continuous learning culture, you'll have the opportunity to grow your expertise while making a difference where it matters most. Ideal candidates for this role will meet the following:Background in Azure security architecture, secure design, and implementation of cloud-native solutions.Ability to develop and deliver end-to-end security architectures that align with Zero Trust, Microsoft Well-Architected Framework, and "Secure by Design" principles.Experience architecting solutions that meet Federal, DoD, and Intel compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD SRG IL4/5/6).Skilled in Architectural Design Sessions, workshops, and customer engagements, driving secure adoption of Azure and Microsoft 365 E5 Security/Compliance services.Hands-on technical expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and proving value of Microsoft security solutions in mission-critical environments.Excellent Collaboration skills, working across Microsoft stakeholders, engineering, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions.Ability to articulate and land the value of modern SOC transformation, automation, and Zero Trust security for customer missions.Travel Requirement: This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers on-site. Candidates within commuting distance can expect about 25% overnight travel, while those outside the area may travel up to 75% overnight, depending on customer and business needs.
