DLC's grid is connected with poles and wires, but it's powered by people. The company's Human Resources (HR) department is dedicated to supporting employees and simultaneously facilitating a team-centric environment conducive to providing superior service to our customers. HR partners directly with departments across the company on hiring needs, training and development, benefits and programs and much more for all of DLC's more than 1,900 employees. The Talent Management intern will help us advance several key initiatives that directly impact our people strategy and employee experience. Potential work could include:
Education/Experience: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or other related field. Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Hybrid Work: All internships follow our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Interns must be in the immediate Pittsburgh area for the summer. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs. Other: Applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and social media screen.
