Military Markets Program Specialist

Reports to: Senior Program Manager

Supervises: N/A

Summary Statement: This position is responsible for supporting the growth of IFB Solutions' product portfolio by providing comprehensive administrative reporting, data collection, and analytical support within Military Markets distribution channels. The role plays a key part in identifying opportunities, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving data-informed decision-making to support strategic expansion efforts.

Essential Job Functions



  • Track and report data on salvage items to support inventory management and loss prevention efforts.
  • Monitor distribution of new products and promotions through military distribution channels, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Support and update planograms for each military store, as directed by the National Industries for the Blind (NIB).
  • Conduct in-store field audits to assess compliance, merchandising standards, and inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed base visit reports summarizing findings from field audits.
  • Maintain and update the product and equipment catalog to ensure accuracy and availability of current offerings.
  • Conduct monthly pricing audits to identify and resolve pricing discrepancies, supporting accurate billing and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and operation teams to align data insights with operational goals.


Marginal Job Functions



  • Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
  • Participate in training and meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities



  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong sales and program management experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a REAL ID



Education and Work Experience



  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field or a minimum of 5 years of product/program/distribution management is required.
