Lab Technician

Pay & Schedule:

• $15.75/hour
• Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Perform material and tubing tests, including positive material identification, tensile and hardness testing, metallographic specimen prep, ferrite content, corrosion, surface roughness, passivation, and bend testing
• Process incoming materials for third-party analysis and calibrate production tools and equipment
• Measure wall thickness and outside diameters, calculate CSA, and record accurate test data
• Operate lab software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and specialized testing programs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment in compliance with company standards
• Contribute to continual improvement, quality assurance, and safety initiatives

Qualifications:

• 2 years of lab experience in a manufacturing or materials science setting
• High School Diploma or GED (technical certifications a plus)
• Proficient with metallurgical testing equipment and lab software
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and good penmanship
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and drive results
