Accounts Payable Intern

Ferrellgas has an exciting opportunity on our Accounts Payable team as a Corporate Intern. As an Intern at Ferrellgas, you will get to work with one of the largest propane retailers in the United States. We are seeking a driven and talented intern who is open and flexible to working remotely on a part-time basis. The timeframe of this internship is on or around October 2025-February 2026 dependent on business needs.

Support the Accounts Payable team with invoice processing.
• Assist in invoice data clean-up by reviewing, reconciling, and correcting discrepancies.
• Help ensure invoices are coded accurately to the correct accounts, cost centers, and projects.
• Monitor and organize electronic invoice documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with AP staff to research and resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Provide general administrative support to the AP team, including reporting and record maintenance.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.

• Interest in gaining hands-on experience in finance, accounting, or business operations; prior AP or office experience is a plus but not required.
• Problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• A true team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
• Ability to work within a remote environment effectively.
• National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
