CAPTURE ANALYST II

Job Summary

VSolvit is seeking a Capture Analyst II to support our Business Development team in identifying and analyzing Federal and DoD contracting opportunities. This role will conduct market and competitive research, track procurement trends, evaluate opportunities and teaming partners, maintain CRM pipeline data, and provide actionable intelligence to capture managers and leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong Federal contracting and DoD market research experience and is comfortable using AI-enabled tools, GovCon research platforms, and emerging technologies to improve opportunity identification, competitive analysis, and capture planning.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Federal contracting, business development, market research, or competitive analysis experience

• SHIELD contract experience required

• Experience with MDA, U.S. Army, U.S. Space Force, and USACE

• Strong knowledge of relevant Federal/DoD agencies and procurement environments

• Experience researching and analyzing Government contracting opportunities

• Familiarity with tools such as SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, GovWin IQ, Federal Compass, or Bloomberg Government

• Experience using AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, or business development

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred: 3-5 years of DoD market research, capture, competitive intelligence, or business development experience, including opportunity assessments, SWOT/competitive analyses, CRM management, and Federal proposal or capture support.
