- Serve as the authority on cloud engineering, overseeing and optimizing all aspects of cloud strategy and implementation
- Lead cutting-edge research initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
- Architect and design innovative, scalable cloud-based systems that address complex business challenges and set new industry standards.
- Develop and implement DevSecOps software factory pipeline ensuring unparalleled performance, security, and reliability.
- Conduct high-level evaluations of cloud infrastructures, providing strategic insights for optimization, cost-efficiency, and technological advancement.
- Apply advanced principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to solve complex cloud-related problems and drive technological breakthroughs.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the organization's long-term cloud strategy and align it with business objectives.
- Establish best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud engineering across the organization.

Requirements
- Familiarity with UML & SysML.
- Expertise in AI/ML at scale in cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of edge computing and embedded systems within cloud systems.
- Successful track record of large-scale cloud migrations and transformations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to acquire a Secret Security Clearance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- 4+ years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale cloud initiatives.
- Expert-level proficiency across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and software pipeline tools (e.g., GitLab, Kubernetes, Jira, SonarQube, CMake, cucumber, jFrog, Coverity).
- Comprehensive mastery of cloud architecture, design patterns, and emerging cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience in cloud security, compliance, and governance at a global scale.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performance cloud engineering teams.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and technical teams alike.
- Thorough knowledge & understanding of the DoD RMF process.
