Summary of Job Duties:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Data Administrator to oversee database operations, data governance, and system integrations for the Regional Campuses Central Team. Reporting to the Director of Analytics for Regional Campuses, this position is pivotal in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and the performance of complex cloud-based data systems, including Salesforce. The Associate Data Administrator will collaborate with IT, program directors, evaluators, and external partners to implement scalable data solutions, streamline workflows, and support advanced reporting and analytics initiatives. This role requires expertise in database administration, data lifecycle management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for institutional decision-making across UAMS Regional Campuses. You must reside within a 100-mile radius of our central campus location in Little Rock, AR to be considered for this opportunity. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Informatics, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. OR HS plus Four (4) years of customer support experience and/or account management
  • Proficiency in managing cloud-based databases (e.g., Salesforce) and ensuring data integrity.
  • Experience with coding (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) and form development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, health informatics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in advanced database management, systems integration, or cloud-based CRM administration.
  • Proficiency in managing cloud-based databases (e.g., Salesforce) and ensuring data integrity.

  • Expertise in database administration and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in data systems such as JavaScript, SQL, Python, and other programming tools.
  • Strong data auditing, reporting, and process optimization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Management and Process Optimization

  • Lead comprehensive database strategy, including the design, maintenance, and optimization of cloud-based data systems such as Salesforce, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the system administrator and technical lead for the core student and trainee database across all UAMS Regional Programs.
  • Oversee system performance, architecture enhancements, and custom development in collaboration with IT and vendor partners.
  • Develop data governance standards and protocols to ensure consistency, reliability, and audit-readiness.
  • Design and implement user access controls, data hierarchies, and system integrations with other platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop database enhancements, custom dashboards, and automation tools that meet strategic priorities.

Data Entry and Data Collection Form Management

  • Direct the development, integration, and continuous improvement of dynamic data collection tools, workflows, and application interfaces.
  • Translate programmatic and grant requirements into scalable, automated data solutions.
  • Oversee data intake procedures from external partners and regional centers, ensuring alignment with compliance and reporting mandates.
  • Provide advanced technical training to internal users and external stakeholders on data collection tools and protocols.

Data Integrity, Auditing, and Quality Control

  • Collaborate with dedicated auditors to establish and maintain continuous quality control processes, identifying and correcting anomalies proactively.
  • Utilize advanced data validation methods and scripting tools to ensure real-time accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Perform longitudinal and cross-sectional data reviews, ensuring consistency for federal grant reporting and student lifecycle tracking.

Data Reporting and Coordination

  • Provide high-level data analysis and custom reporting to support federal grant submissions, institutional evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Integrate external data sources such as the National Student Clearinghouse into comprehensive reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to develop outcome tracking mechanisms aligned to strategic workforce development goals.
