About the Role We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Executive Director, System Operations, to lead and evolve our operational strategy in a rapidly transforming energy landscape. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and innovation of our system operations while driving strategic initiatives that shape the future of energy delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and industry trends.
- Change Management: Lead transformational initiatives to modernize grid systems, optimize performance, and enhance system resilience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to influence outcomes and foster alignment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee real-time operations, system reliability, and grid performance with a focus on reliability, compliance, and innovation.
- Organizational Development: Build and mentor high-performing teams, cultivating leadership capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and community outreach to advocate for operational priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in senior operational leadership within the energy or utilities sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale change and strategic transformation.
- Exceptional ability to influence across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
- Solid understanding of system operations, grid management, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in system operations, planning or energy infrastructure.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environments in the energy sector.
