As a Security Professional - Unarmed Site - Multiple Shifts in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in providing access control and security-related support within a dynamic transportation setting. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and personnel. You will be tasked with conducting routine patrols, verifying credentials, and assisting individuals as needed, all while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the transportation facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and local personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
