As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for tenants and visitors. You will interact with a diverse range of people, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any concerns or requests. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the commercial real estate environment.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support the enforcement of client policies and procedures as directed.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
