Who we are and what we do: TennCare is Tennessee's managed care Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to certain groups of low-income individuals such as pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults, and adults with physical disabilities. TennCare provides coverage for approximately 1.7 million Tennesseans and operates with an annual budget of approximately $14 billion. It is run by the Division of TennCare with oversight and some funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). TennCare's mission is to improve the lives of Tennesseans by providing high-quality cost-effective care. Job Overview: The Division of TennCare is seeking a Member Services Training Administrator who reports directly to the Compliance and Policy Group Deputy Director in Member Services. The Administrator is responsible, indirectly or directly, for up to 18 staff including 2 Directors, their teams of facilitators and instructional designers and contract staff. The Administrator will oversee all assigned functions of training and instructional design including the design, planning, and implementation of instructor-led and e-Learning courses ensuring accurate, timely training and high-quality customer service. This position requires collaborative work with a variety of stakeholders to assess ongoing and future training needs as well as evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and training. Using all resources available, the Administrator will plan strategically, make sound decisions and execute actions necessary to fulfill objectives that support Member Services ongoing training needs and TennCare' s mission and vision. Lastly, this position will develop effective relationships across the agency. Doing so will ensure collaboration and mutual understanding of matters affecting eligibility service delivery and policy implementation. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of qualifying management experience. OR Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in a related field and six (6) years of qualifying professional experience. OR Eight (8) or more years of qualifying professional experience. OR An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
